Description de l'événement
Chemicals are part of our everyday lives. Cosmetics. Food. Cleaning products. Pesticides But many of the risks they pose remain hidden. In Europe, women and children are exposed to chemicals every day through personal care products, food, the environment, and even their work.
This exposure is not the same for everyone. Women are often more exposed because of the products they are expected to use, the jobs they do, and their care responsibilities.
WECF is organising an interactive online lunch webinar, as part of the Imagining Climate Just Futures project where your voice and experiences matter. This will not be a lecture, but an open space to listen, share experiences, and talk about possible solutions together.
During the workshop, we will explore:
• Where are women most exposed to chemicals in daily life?
• What risks can come from cosmetics and pesticides?
• Why are these risks often invisible in policy and regulation?
• What would a truly toxic-free future look like under the EU Green Deal?
