Description de l'événement
How does the EU Green Deal affect everyday life in winter?
How do people deal with high energy bills or poor housing?
January is the coldest month of the year in most European countries, and many people, often women, across Europe are more affected by energy poverty. This webinar links the EU Green Deal to daily life and shows why a fair, gender-just energy transition matters for keeping homes warm and affordable.
This interactive online workshop is for people with lived experience of energy poverty, as well as for anyone who wants to understand the issue better. Participants are invited to join, share their experiences, and learn from each other — whether or not they struggle to pay energy bills, live in a cold or poorly insulated home, or support others in these situations.
This is not a one-way webinar. It is an online workshop with active participation. Everyday experiences and practical solutions are at the centre of the session. We will look at how energy poverty is linked to the EU Green Deal, including energy and home renovation policies, and why a gender and care perspective matters.
Participants will leave with a clearer understanding of energy poverty and simple, practical tips they can use in daily life or share with others.
